About the Jazz Band

Rock out with the COF Jazz Band, a big band that plays jazz standards, fusion arrangements, Latin jazz and an occasional pop tune.  Newcomers to jazz and experienced jazzers are welcome!  The band is a full, 17-part big band: 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, 5 saxes, piano, bass, drums and guitar, and all instruments are needed.  But if you’re a jazz violinist, vibist or vocalist, there’s a spot for you.  The band plays one concert in the fall and a swing dance in the spring.  Join the fun!
